Tike - Tike Bike II

The tike II is a superb development of the original Tike. The Tike II harnesses all the beauty of tike and consolidates it with some new features and upgrades.

The Tike is a bike without pedals, designed specially for 2-6 year olds to master balance, steering and motor skills without forming habits generated by trainer wheels that must be later unlearnt.

Key improvements and new features of the Tike II include:

- Now made from FSC accredited Plantation Beech, the toughest sustainable wood plantation accreditation in the world
- Locktite nuts so the nuts won't come loose
- Front fork assembly is modified to ensure even smoother transition and easier assembly
- Wheel bearings reinforced... extra strong, extra smooth glide
- 6 seat height adjustments for greater flexibility
- Thicker grade ply... super strong and highly buffed
- Rubber handle grips for better grip and greater durability
- A bell.... essential for urban assault!

A developmentally superior way to ride a bike, the tike allows younger children to experience the exhilaration and freedom of a bike while developing critical motor skills, independence and confidence before they can ride a two wheel bike. A safe approach to teaching young children to ride through limited steering angles, low centre of gravity and accurate steering geometry. No spokes to keep toes safe.

The Tike is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It comes in a range of fun colours and seats are adjustable for different heights (6 seat adjusters) and age groups. Seat covers are removable and washable and additional seat covers in different colours may also be purchased separately to cater for change in taste or gender of child.

Tyres are the latest European EVA tyres, will never deflate are strong, lightweight and durable. All Tikes come with a 12 month structural warranty.
